I have two great passions, arts and nature. The second I chose as a job (I have a PhD in behavioural ecology), the first one as a hobby, to let my soul breath some freshness when the scientific times are hard. And anyway, doing science is like doing art, or philosophy. You try to answer questions about the world, you live a life of continuous research, learn to always question yourself and the answers you get. Just, with the added fun of some practical work!

I am starting to really like the fog. Not the subtle wisp of vapor that gives a hint of something. The real, massive, heavy fog that just settles down and you can't see your front door from the parking lot. Driving on the highway, on a bridge, nothing in the back, nothing in the front, nothing on the side. The fog just makes you fly.
